Happy Holidays!

Wow, I can't believe that another year is gone by already! 2009...wow seems like just yesterday everyone was panicing about the whole y2k thing in 1999...lol
We had a very good year, Brian and I are buliding a new home...it's about 6 blocks north of us! We wanted a bigger house with more property but didn't want to move out of Freedom elementary boundaries...so anyways, we have picked out all the colors and everything and they should be breaking ground anyday now...which would put us in our new home in about May...I hope :)

Christmas was good, diffrent for me...I didn't get into the shopping as much as I normally do...I honestly just wanted to focus on trying to keep the true meaning of Christmas in mind this year. Don't get me wrong the kids had a Great Christmas...but Christmas is definatly not about presents. So we focused more on the birth of Christ more than anything else.
This is also the first year that I haven't been really depressed around the holidays, most years and I miss my family so much that I am just a emotional rollercoaster. But this year I just took it better, I mean I do miss my family alot but for the first time I was ok with not being with them. I don't know if that makes any sense...but I think it's just part of getting older.

Quick update on the family,
Damian is 7 and is in first grade, he is really smart and loves school! He is a huge help to me and is starting to want to help out around the house which I love! I am the room mom in his class so I get to go see him all the time in school and organize the parties! It's fun, I love it! Damian is a really good kid, he's very funny and wants to be a Camillian (Comedian) when he grows up!

Matthew is almost 3, he is walking really well and actually runs most everywhere! He is really sweet and smart! He is my snuggler, he loves kisses and to be rocked to sleep. He starts PPCD in April at Damian's school...I have mixed feelings about that...I am happy for him but I am really nervous too! His therapists put him at about an 18 month level developmentally. Matthew loves everyone he thinks everyone is his friend and never meets a stranger, he thinks everyone wants his kisses and for him to tickle their tummy...lol

Ashlyn is 1, she is on the verge of walking...she can stand and walk holding one hand but she isn't quite there yet. For a one year old she really has alot of attitude...she loves her momma but doesn't like anyone else to give her kisses. She is really snuggly with me, and right now that's what matters :) She is also talking alot, she says, "Hi" to everyone that she sees and smiles really big, she is a huge flirt! Ashlyn is definatly catching up to her brother in size, she is about an inch shorter and 1/2 lb smaller. She is the eater, that girl will eat anything... she isn't picky.

Anyways, that's all for now...I'm not good at this blogging thing!
